Smart Air uses the most popular size Air Tractor on the market, the AT-502B which is considered as the “Workhorse” of the industry. On the Darling Downs with smaller paddocks and more powerlines the AT-502 is the perfect size aircraft to service this area. They have a big 500-gallon (1.893 L) payload which means we make fewer trips out and back; fewer landing and take-offs, making it more efficient and cost effective for the client with more acres sprayed in less time.
